A chef by trade and operational specialist by choice. Joel has spent the last 30 years in the hospitality business cooking, writing menus and managing venues. As a culinary director who’s worked across three continents, he has run everything from food trucks , 300-seat gastro-pubs and large-scale catering businesses, to multi-state QSR chains.

PETE KILROY
Branding & Marketing // Photographer
Jack of all trades, master of some. Pete is an accomplished film-maker and photographer who has been at the pointy-end of hospitality marketing management for the the past decade. Winner of 3 x QSR Media awards for marketing, as well as a Brisbane Advertising and Design Award and QLD Music award, he has rolled out 100+ campaigns and specialises in strategy and brand.

ANDREW KLONARIS
Design // Artist
Driven by a deep love for the craft for over a decade, Andy brings a distinct visual signature to the team. Specializing in hospitality, he offers an informed perspective on designing cohesive digital and real-world experiences. By night, he fuels his creative engine as a visual artist, using illustration to sharpen his conceptual thinking and idea generation.

DAVE THOMAS
Construction // Builder
Dave brings over 20 years of hands‑on experience in commercial and hospitality fitouts, with a deep understanding of the complex requirements behind food‑based builds. A qualified joiner, cabinetmaker and shopfitter, he understands every moving part of a food fitout, from back‑of‑house to front‑of‑house, with a focus on compliance and workflow in the venue.

MAX ANDERSON
POS & IT // Programmer
An experienced Chef in his past life, Max understands hospitality on both sides of the bump-screen. He is an expert in POS implementation and support and has delivered new technology stacks across 115 locations across AU & NZ, along with 42 locations in the US. Technical wizardry aside, his unique talent is bridging the gap between venue and technical teams, as he understand how technology can make or break day-to-day operations.
